The floral resources of pollinators are largely unknown. These data are necessary to effectively combat pollinator decline, as pollinator health depends on the floral resources (different chemical composition of nectar in glucose and fructose and of pollen in essential proteins and amino acids) that different floral habitats (forests, edges, thickets, grasslands, meadows, etc.) provide to insects visiting flowers. A decrease in the diversity and abundance of flowers translates into a decrease in floral resources (nectar and pollen) which affects the feeding of pollinators, being one of the main causes of pollinator loss.
