Made in Germany Three«, presented at the three art institutions Kestner Gesellschaft, Kunstverein Hannover and Sprengel Museum Hannover, takes a look at the multifaceted and diverse art scene in Germany. The third edition of »Made in Germany« focuses on production conditions for art in Germany, and the question of how geographic, political and institutional structures as well as new technologies create vital prerequisites for the production of art. By focusing on current production conditions, the show examines to what extent art production might have been redefined. During the five years since the last exhibition, a post-digital generation has grown up and changed art with new networks, apps and DIY instructions. From an international point of view, Germany still has a unique density of institutions (art academies, art colleges, art associations and museums), and the scene in Germany is also one of the most agile production sites in this latest art. Three main aspects form the focus of exhibition and book: 1. space, in the sense of the place of production, location and environment; 2. time, in the sense of work process, narrative and speed; 3. production structure, in the sense of cooperation and network. Ephemeral art forms and site-specific installations boom, artists create blogs, offspaces and free spaces for any kind of activity. Made in Germany trois » jette un regard sur la diversité de la scène artistique allemande aux multiples facettes dans les trois institutions que sont la Kestner Gesellschaft, le Kunstverein de Hanovre et le Sprengel Museum de Hanovre. La troisième édition de « Made in Germany » est centrée sur les conditions de production de l'art en Allemagne et la question de l'influence des structures géographiques, politiques et institutionnelles, ainsi que des nouvelles technologies, pour l'émergence des conditions essentielles à la production artistique. En se concentrant sur les conditions de production actuelles, l'exposition interroge et demande dans quelle mesure la production artistique se redéfinit. En effet, au cours des cinq ans depuis la dernière édition, une génération post-numérique a grandi qui a radicalement transformé l'art à grand renfort de nouveaux réseaux, applis et instructions DIY. Dans un paysage artistique qui reste caractérisé par une densité unique au monde d'institutions (académies, écoles supérieures d'art, associations artistiques et musées), la scène allemande est aussi l'un des sites de production les plus actifs de cet art récent. Trois aspects centraux ont cependant été placés au premier plan de l'exposition et du livre : 1. L'espace en tant que lieu de production, site et environnement ; 2. Le temps en tant que processus de travail, récit et rapidité ; 3. La structure de production en tant que coopération et réseau. Les formes d'art éphémères et les installations spatiales explosent, les artistes ouvrent des blogs, des espaces off et des libertés d'action pour les activités en tous genres. Made in Germany Drei« in den drei Kunstinstitutionen Kestner Gesellschaft, Kunstverein Hannover und Sprengel Museum Hannover einen Blick auf die facettenreiche und vielfältige Kunstszene in Deutschland. Im Fokus der dritten Ausgabe von »Made in Germany« liegen dabei die Produktionsbedingungen von Kunst in Deutschland und die Frage, wie geografische, politische und institutionelle Strukturen sowie neue Technologien entscheidende Voraussetzungen für die Herstellung von Kunst schaffen. Mit der Konzentration auf die aktuellen Produktionsbedingungen fragt die Schau, inwieweit sich künstlerische Produktion neu definiert. In den fünf Jahren seit der letzten Ausstellung ist eine postdigitale Generation groß geworden, die mit neuen Netzwerken, Apps und DIY-Anleitungen die Kunst durchdringend verändert hat. In einer Kunstlandschaft mit einer nach wie vor international einzigartigen Dichte von Institutionen (Kunstakademien, Kunsthochschulen, Kunstvereinen und Museen) ist die Szene in Deutschland einer der agilsten Produktionsorte dieser jüngsten Kunst. Drei zentrale Aspekte stehen jedoch im Vordergrund von Ausstellung und Buch: 1. der Raum im Sinne von Produktionsort, Standort und Umfeld; 2. die Zeit im Sinne von Arbeitsprozess, Erzählung und Geschwindigkeit; 3. die Produktionsstruktur im Sinne von Kooperation und Netzwerk. Ephemere Kunstformen und raumbezogene Installationen boomen, die Künstlerinnen und Künstler schaffen Blogs, Offspaces und Freiräume für jede Art Aktivität.
