The reddish skin of Camagüey

Lázaro David Najarro Pujol
The compilation La piel rojiza del Camagüey, with more than a hundred photographs, reflects the work of a group of artisan artists from a region where ceramics has a major letter of introduction. Several creative generations have developed with mastery a craft of aboriginal heritage and taken up by Spaniards, mainly Catalans, with which they took advantage of the benefits of the clay deposits existing here. In this book the author proposes an encounter with those men who today make the clay skin of the reddish city of roofs and bell towers that defy the infinity of time. The compilation La piel rojiza del Camagüey, with more than a hundred photographs, reflects the work of a group of artisan artists from a region where ceramics has a major letter of introduction.
