Investigation of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in workers

This paper aims to develop methods of investigation of accidents at work and occupational diseases of those who work under the modality of teleworking, which are not exempt from risk factors by the execution of their work. In this sense, it develops the notion of telework, its risks and the vision on safety and health of work from the doctrinal and legislative point of view considering the European Union to Latin American countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Panama, Venezuela and Mexico, in order to visualize the panorama of the implementation and regulation of this figure, which is not new, but for some countries is a pilot project that has been given with greater emphasis because of the pandemic Covid-19; concluding that telework with the Covid-19, came to stay which will lead to make a predominant form of work within the modality of home-based workers that will require regulation and political and social will by the countries both in the field of labor and safety and health at work, being implemented in accordance with the vision expressed by the ILO.
