The identity crisis is one of the most intellectual crises facing Arab societies after their connection to Western thought and the outcomes of modern Western civilization. As a result of this crisis, a fierce conflict arose between what is traditional in Arab thought and what is new and emerging from Western values and ideas. On this basis, two themes emerged.
