OF THE LEGENDARY DYNAMICS IN SOME AFRICAN NOVELISTS:

Amenan Prisca Amandine Kouakou
The distribution of literary genres by the founders of classicism specified the diversification of the configurations of literary expression. The consequence is not unequivocal insofar as African writers in general and Ivorians in particular have made good use of it in their works. From this cognitive angle, does their investigation contribute to the knowledge of our cultural and literary heritage by authenticating the particularities of the legend of Abla Pokou, as well as the social identity of the Baule people? Thus, Bernard Binlin Dadié in Légendes Africaines and Véronique Tadjo in Reine Pokou rely respectively on narration, the literary essay, myth and tale to materialize the aesthetics and dynamics of the Baule legend, which are part of the richness of the Ivorian cultural and literary heritage.
