Clinical Epidemiological Characterization

Rogelio Cruz Enriquez
With the objective of characterizing the patients with initial renal transplant dysfunction, a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in patients with initial renal graft dysfunction in the Renal Transplant room of the Nephrology Service of the University Hospital "Arnaldo Milián Castro" Santa Clara, from January 2018 to December 2020. In the renal transplantation, the age of the patient with initial graft dysfunction presented a predominance of those who were between 40 and 49 years old, white skin color, from Villa Clara province and as a purifying method prior to transplantation was hemodialysis. The most frequent cause of CKD was arterial hypertension, followed by autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease. Regarding the immunosuppression scheme, most of them had steroids, cellcept and neoral treatment. Those who did and did not present initial diuresis coincided, being the average of cold ischemia higher in those who did not have the referred diuresis. In general there was a greater number that did not present rejection, being the average of hot ischemia higher in those who did present rejection.
