Reoular Urbain Ndigmbayel
This research aims to show the evolution of public technical and vocational secondary education in Chad from 1950 to 2005 in terms of improved legislation, teacher training, and increased budgets. Following a historical approach, we ask the question: what is the impact of educational reforms in Chad on public technical and vocational secondary education from 1950 to 2005? The methodology used is based on documentary research and semi-directive interviews. Our corpus is composed of all the texts and laws; reports on budgets in this sector from 1950 to 2005. The population of this study is composed of all the teachers of the technical and vocational secondary public over the period from 1950 to 2005, that is to say a systematic sample of two hundred and five (205) teachers. The results of the study show that public technical and vocational secondary education from 1950 to 2005 underwent a progressive and sustained evolution in terms of legislation, personnel and finances.
