Towards an 'inculturated' African democracy in a globalized world

François Muisanza Katewu
In Africa, the question of democracy and that of social well-being arise acutely and simultaneously. In a context of democratic vitality for a coherent and efficient operation, this would therefore be the way out of authoritarianism and the economic crisis. However, the issue of the Africanization of democracy continues to haunt people's minds today. And for good reason! The formal existence in Africa of legal texts and democratic institutions does not guarantee the existence of a democratic regime and does not often manage and definitively resolve so many problems relating to national, regional and international conflict. which calls democracy into question and lifts the veil on a set of anti-democratic practices and other forms of totalitarianism. democracy and the persistence of political antagonism, to refine our point by identifying some tracks to achieve an embodied African democratic regime that we call "inculturated African democracy".
