This book provides a detailed insight on doped oxyapatite-type lanthanum silicate nanophosphors were successfully synthesized by a low temperature solution combustion method by using low temperature , structural characterizations and photoluminescence properties of rare earth ions doped La10Si6O27 phosphors. Photoluminescence (PL) properties of La10Si6O27: RE3+ for NUV excitation was studied in order to investigate the possibility of its use in display applications.
