Implementation of distance modality with the use of the Virtual Classroom

The emergence of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and the emergence of the Internet, network of networks, with communication facilities and services led to a paradigm shift in the convergence of technologies, their integration into human development. ICTs have revolutionized educational models, improving them, allowing the incorporation of new forms of teaching-learning, the exchange of information, the generation of knowledge in the different communities of practice in health, the development of new forms of collaborative work, and provided facilities for autonomous and meaningful learning, following modern trends and making possible a qualitative leap in the educational practices of the different modalities, which together with the face-to-face modality, which dominated in the university centers, has promoted the development of distance modalities (e-learning) and blended learning (b-learning) with the use of technological platforms. In the educational field, modern forms and methods of education are nowadays integrated, which generate various technological platforms in the different educational modalities.
