Through this work, it could be shown that this fear does not occur and it could even be shown a contrary trend. The Constance Home Office Study showed that the fear of a drop in employee performance due to a move to the home office is unfounded. The self-assessment of work performance in the case of the abrupt switch to the home office investigated here, due to the coronavirus pandemic, was even positive.
