Clinical didactic analysis

Hassine Nouri
This work examines the effect of sporting and/or (personal) expertise on the teaching of PE. The study is situated within the framework of research in clinical didactics of PES on the analysis of teaching practices in situ and whose aim is to account for the singularity of the teaching subject (Terrisse, 2013) of his or her personal relationship to the PSA taught, to knowledge and/or to the body. This research reports on a case study: a beginner PE teacher who is an expert in long jump and who taught his specialty and a second PSA that he has never practiced outside of school and that he does not know enough about (handball). This work has allowed to take into account the subjective stakes of the act of transmission of knowledge interpreted from clinical didactic analysis tools which could be taken as clues differentiating the teaching of the specialist and/or the expert from that of the non-specialist.The teacher has shown, for each PSA taught, a different mode of didactic treatment according to the relationship he has with the PSA he is in charge to teach.
