Due to the huge increase in positive cases of corona virus, Indian government introduced 21 days nationwide lockdown on 24th march 2020. This lockdown then extended to 68 days. It shut downed all commercial activities and transportation. Also, people who effected with covid 19 and those who came from other states and other countries obligated with 14 days of quarantine. The problems like closed hotels and restaurants and unavailability of transportation created a space for online food delivery services. As a result, many restaurants started delivery services and some new online food ordering applications were introduced. They got huge customers. So, this study is entitled as 'Consumer adoption of Online Food Ordering Service; the impact of covid 19 pandemic situation'.
