Subprosthetic stomatitis was predominant in females aged 60-79 years who had total upper prostheses continuously maintaining inadequate dietary habits, carriers of diabetes mellitus and maladjusted prostheses with poor oral hygiene and grade 2 lesions with prostheses of more than 2 years of use.
