New York: everything reminds me of something
A fusion of urbanism, architecture and street art, documenting the vanishing and re-invention of this famed metropolis. The photographs were taken during endless strolls around the city over the past 20 years, from the end of the downtown jungle years to the present day. The resulting collection is a highly complex visual puzzle made of images documenting everything from the culturally defined landmarks to the fringes and in-between areas. With each image presented to capture a moment of a New York story, as a collection, they present an abstracted narrative of the city.
