Yoko Ono, touch me
For forty years, through music, painting, performance, film and sculpture, Yoko Ono has engaged fundamental issues such as peace, respect, and the search for self. A founding member of the Fluxus art movement, she continues to have a profound influence on contemporary art. Touch me is a suite of sculptural works that are activated and realized - as their imperative titles suggest - by the tactile participation of the viewer. This book documents these playfully interactive works, as well as other new and historical works by the artist.
