Nowadays, work is being done in Occupational Health and ergonomics where primary prevention is essential to mitigate the emergence of this type of alterations. Currently, there is a need to provide workers with the necessary protection to reduce, through activities focused on prevention, all kinds of diseases and injuries of occupational origin, in order to provide them with a better quality of life. That in the volunteer fire department of Palmira there are osteomuscular injuries involved in a constant concern, since they present a daily exposure. Work-related musculoskeletal injuries are a reality that affects employees of companies worldwide. For this reason, establishing prevention strategies, through active breaks, contributes significantly to the reduction of musculoskeletal injuries.
