Peacekeeping missions "COPAX" of the ECCAS

Jacques NDJOKU WA NDJOKU
ECCAS occupies the last positions in terms of development compared to other subregional communities in Africa, due to the insecurity that has persisted in the subregion for several decades. However, a reading of the ECCAS objectives shows that they focus on peace in the broadest possible sense. Indeed, it is unacceptable that thirty-five years after the creation of ECCAS, peace is still a slogan in the speeches of the Heads of State and also, the Member States of the Community remain dramatically under-equipped in basic infrastructure and suffer from a deficiency in New Information and Communication Technology and in the interconnection of local networks for the transport of goods and people between Member States. The present study seeks, through scientific methods, to identify the main causes of these deficiencies and to propose appropriate solutions in the medium term.
