Liturgy for life makes a clarion call for an authentic and radical epiclesis of life that needs to be lived under the unction of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God motivates, inspires and puts into constant flame the liturgical spirituality which is actually synonymous with liturgy for life in overtures. This explains the rationale for exploring all possibilities within the means available to the Church to make liturgical celebrations ever more relevant to the people par-ticularly in their given cultural backgrounds.One of the excellent features of Liturgy for Life consists in making the liturgical celebrations particularly the Eucharist a privileged platforms where the oppressor and the oppressed share the common tables of the Word and Sacrament. The effect of such eucharistic encounter dis-poses truly the oppressor towards a clear realisation of the enormity of the injustice and wounds inherent in the actions. A true sense of remorse arises thus leading to sincere redress and reconciliation. Ultimately, both parties become fully regenerated by the spirit of liturgy for better and mutual co-existence, now and beyond.
