The book is the result of scientific research conducted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Eduardo Mondlane University as part of the culminating work of the Bachelor's degree course in Food Science and Technology taught at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Eduardo Mondlane University. The theme was entitled the assessment of the eating habits of university students at the Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo City, which aimed to evaluate their eating habits, with a greater focus on characterizing the socioeconomic profile, examining knowledge about healthy eating, describing food consumption practices and identifying factors that influence students' food preferences.
