Linguistic studies on French in Cameroon highlight the specificities of spontaneous and reflexive French of Cameroonian francophone and/or anglophone speakers. The linguistic policy implemented by the Cameroonian authorities has not prevented the factors that contribute to the appropriation of French by Cameroonians.
