The Yearbook includes student work from the courses of study in architectural design, technology and visual design at the Department of Architecture of the ETH Zurich. The work was produced in the previous year in the semester studios, but also as part of a Master Thesis project or in one of the Master of Advanced Studiesprogrammes (MAS). The Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta), the Institute of Technology in Architecture (ITA), the Institute for Historic Building Research and Conservation (IDB) as well as the Network City and Landscape (NSL) with the Institute for Urban Design (ISB), the ETH Studio Basel/Contemporary CityInstitute and the Institute for Landscape Architecture (ILA) present also selectedworks of their teaching and research activities. Thus, the Yearbook describes the entire breadth of approaches and disciplines which characterize this school.
