Banking Cultures of the World
For some years a great deal of scientific work has been devoted to investigating corporate culture as a factor in strategic success. This research has until now concentrated on particular national perspectives. In doing so it has barely considered globalization which has been an especially important development in the banking and finance sector. This book aims to compensate for this deficit by analysing the banking cultures in about 50 countries. It provides a significant contribution to the increasingly important topic of intercultural management. This book is written for bankers all over the world operating on an international level, above all for expatriate managers or those who are likely to work abroad. It is also of interest to university students and trainees as an early introduction to the diverse cultures and structures of international banking systems.
