According to the needs originated by the increase of tourist fluctuation, there is a greater number of foreign clients who are interested in the Cuban product and establish a constant flow of communication. The lack of knowledge of the cultural arsenal of the issuing market and the lack of recognition of the values of our own culture have become important aspects to take into consideration for its formation. In the Cuban tourist context, the competent intercultural performance of German-speaking tour guides is becoming increasingly important.
