Musa Muhammad Dandikko
The Problem Child is a true life (non-fiction) story of Malcom, who was the fifth child born into a nuclear family to Aaron and Jennifer. The family enjoyed a happy living due to affluence and affection from all the members. This happiness metamorphosed into a life of struggles, initially with sickness during infancy and early life stage and subsequently abject poverty due to austerity measures brought about by the then federal military government. The austerity led to downsizing and right sizing of the government expenditures leading to loss of jobs and contracts which affected his mother called Jennifer negatively. Subsequently, Malcom suffered bereavement of his father, who was called Aaron when he just joined secondary education. The story portrayed the life of an orphan who struggled with modern slavery to emancipate himself from the clutches of ill-health, abject poverty, sorrow, tribalism, discrimination, etc. through hard work, perseverance, dedication, determination and ability to survive all odds. He therefore conquered all these predicaments and survived, prospered and became a model in the society. The story is divided into five series.
