Jacobi's library was sold to the Prussian state after his death and each individual title was catalogued. Based on this catalogue and an inspection of the books where they are kept today, Konrad Wiedemann {Wiedemann, K.} reconstructed the library and provided the titles with annotations: precise bibliographical descriptions, information on their current locations and notes on their literary treatment. The catalogue provides bibliographical evidence of numerous works for which there would otherwise have been no documentation - some of these even well-known works - and for some unique works as well. Die Bibliothek Jacobis wurde nach seinem Tod an den preußischen Staat verkauft und aus diesem Anlass Titel für Titel verzeichnet. Konrad Wiedemann hat aufgrund dieses Verzeichnisses und der Autopsie der Bücher am Ort ihrer heutigen Aufbewahrung die Bibliothek rekonstruiert und den Titeln Annotationen hinzugefügt: genaue Bibliographische Beschreibungen, Angabe ihrer heutigen Standorte und Hinweise auf ihre literarische Verarbeitung. Der Katalog bietet bibliographische Nachweise für zahlreiche sonst nicht nachgewiesene Ausgaben - sogar bekannter Werke - und für einige Unica.
