This study was created and coordinated by the Forum des Engagés pour le Développement Durable (FORED) and (AFIEGO). It is a more comprehensive study of community practices and attitudes towards the impacts of actions and practices on the environment in general: the oil exploitation in and around the Lake Albert Basin in relation to oil exploitation activities in the DRC and Uganda. By the end of 2021, we expect to complete this study in and around the Grand Virunga Basin with additional studies in other oil blocks.
