Yanelis Martín Toledo
Adolescence has been defined by the WHO as a stage of life that runs between 10 and 19 years. It is a stage of great importance in the life of humans, because it is where you stop being a child to become an adult, where a series of questions manage to confuse and some demand immediate answers exposed to the truth and with a categorical foundation as these depend on a correct concept for a better physical and moral behavior in the future, knowing what we should do and what not and how to protect ourselves from what brings us. It is very important to know about the real existence of these infections, how to prevent them, their consequences and risk with many possibilities of being vulnerable to the dangers of sexual life. In such circumstances, the adolescent faces a world of new and more complex needs, challenges and obstacles without having been prepared from the early stages and especially throughout these ages, by arming them with the skills, knowledge, abilities, in short, the competencies that will enable them to integrate successfully and satisfactorily into the adult universe.
